Auto medical payments

Auto medical payments coverage (med pay coverage) provides payments to household members injured in an auto accident without regard to who was at fault in the accident. If the household has medical insurance (as required by Obamacare), there may be some duplication of coverage. The coverage can provide payments not covered under a medical insurance policy for deductibles and other items and can provide payments if a family member is injured in another car or as a pedestrian.
