Agreed value/stated value

For auto physical damage coverage, an agree value clause essentially agrees on what will be paid in advance in the event of a total loss and can be helpful in avoiding disputes with your insurer as to what your carefully maintained auto is worth after a theft or other loss. Some insurers offer stated value coverage as the lesser of an agreed amount and actual cash value.
